Welcome to Kikut Alpin Lodge - Ski in/ Ski out in Geilo

Located next to the ski resort of Vestlia, with more or less direct access to all SkiGeilo has to offer. Take a break from skiing outside the apartment or put on your cross-country skis and head into the mountain wilderness.

About Geilo
Geilo - An all-year activity paradise, with stunning colors in all four seasons.
Easily accessible on Highway 7, midway between Oslo and Bergen, with good road conditions throughout the year.
Conveniently reachable by car, bus, and train, taking approximately 4 hours by all modes of transport from both Oslo and Bergen, ideally 5 hours during peak season.
Recommended activities include cycling (available for rent), jogging, hiking in the mountains, hunting, fishing, skiing (cross-country and downhill), dog sledding, horseback riding, and much more.
Ski lifts operate year-round. A free bus service connects Geilo and Vestlia, allowing you to ski on both sides of the valley.
Kikut is located approximately 10 minutes from Geilo by car at around 1.000 meters.
From the cabin door, you can easily connect to Geilo's ski trail network (over 500 km), with the café at Ruperanden as a recommended destination.
A short distance to the downhill ski resort at Kikut/Geilo Mountain Village with all they have to offer.
In spring and summer, you can walk from the cabin and follow several spectacular hiking trails with Hallingskarvet or Sangenuten on the horizon.
